Alexeyev A-90 Orlyonok [26 white] by Hawkeye UK

One of the amazing 'Caspian Sea Monsters', which is more accurately titled an 'Ekranoplan' or 'ground effect vehicle'. This example is an Alexeyev A-90 'Orlyonok', which translates as 'Eaglet'. Built in 1980, it served with the Russian Navy as '26 white' until at least 1993. It is msn 25508108085 and line number S-26. It is now on permanent display next to Severnoye Park in the Tushino region of Moscow. 14-8-2012
